Maritime Security & Coastal Surveillance Indonesia 2017 Brochure

This conference is geared towards addressing some of the most important issues regarding Indonesia’s maritime security and coastal surveillance capabilities, including operational, procurement and tactical strategies in place to protect freedom of navigation in Indonesia’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and regional waters with the ultimate aim of transforming Indonesia into a global maritime fulcrum with a “Green-water” Navy by 2024. Download the brochure to find out more about what to expect at the conference.

Coastal Indonesia Submarine

What are the Indonesian government’s requirements for these future boats, and who are the contenders in the race to supply between five and seven more submarines, and its related subsystems, to the TNI-AL? What are the TNI-AL’s plans for vessels that are currently in service?

This report aims to provide the readers with a brief understanding of the Indonesian government’s submarine programmes, its requirements for industrial participation, and plans for the future.

Indonesian Navy Modernisation

Faced with an increasing spectrum of maritime threats, the Indonesian Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Laut: TNI-AL) has embarked on an unprecedented modernisation effort. This report aims to summarise major acquisitions projects that are expected to be formalised soon.

Besides conventional adversaries, the TNI-AL is increasingly being shouldered with the responsibility to protect Indonesian waters from asymmetric threats including maritime piracy, irregular human migration, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR), and seaborne terrorism.
